Heterometrus ID? Subspecies?

Another question... when I just got it would feed regularly... now he hasn’t ate for a few weeks. Is that bad? Temperature indicates it’s ok.. I think the substrate may be a bit colder.

I’m no scorpion expert so I can’t ID, but it sounds like you’re looking for species, not subspecies. Heterometrus is the genus name. Also, how often were you feeding while it was eating regularly? A lot of new invertebrate owners overfeed their pets at first, which causes them to fast for long periods of time.

Also, there’s no way to tell the sex from the pictures you’ve provided, the scorp people on here would need to see a ventral (underside) picture.
