If someone could help confirm based on the two seconds of research I did I think this is an orbweaver of some sort

Definitely an orb weaver... There are many araneus that look similar to that, like the cat-faced orb weavers A. gemma and A. gemmoides

 

[Little Grey Spider]

Looks more like it's one of the spotted orb weavers to me (genus Neoscona) possibly N. crucifera.
