Hey all,

My girl found this little guy in her car. I searched around but couldn't find anything that would help me identify him. Any ideas? He's about the size of a dime, definitely arboreal, very fast and skittish. He already ate a pinhead cricket, so we like him :) Thanks!

Looks like Phiddipus audax, white-spotted jumping spider. These guys are great. Lots of fun to watch. A lot more active than Ts.

here is ours...she found her way into the roach bin, and has been living there for months :)
lobster nymphs are the perfect meal for her. She even molted in there.

We have those up around here as well. I caught one the other day, played with it for a bit, and then put it back where it came from.

Cheers,
Dave

Yes, 100% sure it is Phiddipus audax!! Great little spiders, they need to reach the sizes of T's though!!

I just put pics of this spider on the jumping spider thread. Neat little guys, and quite friendly.
