Help ID these slings!

I found these slings on a hike recently and can't decide what species they are. They were somewhat near an Argiope web, but the webbing around the sac looked too irregular to me for them to be hers. There was also a random juvenile Phiddipus hanging out in the middle of the slings near the sac, but there's no way they're phids. Any guesses? Maybe widows of some sort? That's my best guess, just based on the messy webbing, but I'm stumped.

Unfortunately, as with tarantula slings, it's often impossible to identify true spider slings until they grow.

I certainly can't do more than speculate from this image.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking would be the case. I definitely had no idea, but thought I'd check to see what guesses others might make, if any. Thanks!
