Help! Could you tell me what spider this is?

Could you tell me what kind of spider this is? If so could you tell me its gender?
I thought it had cool patterns on its back.
I live in Ireland if that helps narrow it down.

I was looking at Wikipedia and i think its a Snake-back spider

Edit - Now i think it is a Amaurobius similis lace webbed spider
