She/he molted 10 days ago. Is it normal that part being red?

Also can you tell if is a she or a he?

Always include species and rough size :p

The area that we need to look at is completely out of focus, so we can only make wild guesses.

I agree on the male, (look again, @EulersK it's pretty obvious :)) but how can you tell it's Brachypelma??
I am guessing on the shape of specimen and the male looking features of the ventral side around the lungs. I have noticed light coloured epi plate, narrow space between top booklungs and dark triangular mark are common in semi-subadult male Brahypelma and Grammostola. Of course it could be something else but thats just my guess.
