Those of you who keep several or all of the Harpactira species, what is your favorite other than the H. Pulchripe? Are they all very similar aside from colors? Very interested in the other species. I keep Pulchripes currently and love it! Baboons are becoming an area I would like to focus on for terrestrial Ts.

@KezyGLA is the only one that is even qualified to answer the question.

Aside from H. pulchripes, I am raising a female H. dictator and I find them quite similar. I actually prefer the H. dictator over the pulchripes. I dream of H. cafreriana however.

What makes you prefer them over the other?? I have read that husbandry is relatively the same for all Harpactira species. However wanting to know more of specifics of each’s characteristics aside from color that makes them different or more desired per say.

Have you seen Harpactira Namaquensis or Harpactira Cafreriana? They are some pretty nice looking of the species.

Wow! I’ve been looking at H. pulchripes for a long time but I never really investigated the others in the genus. I noticed above that their care is all pretty much the same but has anyone noticed any of them to be more delicate than the others?

    pulchripes.

    you won't regret it.

just pick a T. and make sure it's pulchripes. :troll:...not biased

Did you even read OP questions? He already has pulchripes. He is asking about other Harpactira species.

Nothing too special about them, I can't really explain it, H. dictator just look better than H. pulchripes in my opinion.

I really like the look of Harpactira chrysogaster in addition to some of the others mentioned here...

Definitely seems that way in the US at least. Unfortunately.

yeah, the US is really lacking in variety.

so many I wish I could have but availability is so hard.
