Hi.
I picked up my first cornsnake today, I've been wanting one for ages so finally bought myself one for christmas. Its only young but I am amazed how small and delicate it looks., I love it allready.
I have done the research on the internet and the books, but anybody who keeps these have any tips?
I tried to get a pic when i put it in its new home but I wasnt quick enough LOL.

nice lil corn you have there, is it a morph? When it's done shedding make sure the skin comes off it's butt and comes off it's eyes. Before a shedd keep it's cage really moist and the hummidity way up, maybe dip him in it's waterbowl before a shedd a couple times.

Great choice for a first snake..... I loved mine when I had them...
They are really easy to take care of too!

Looks like a normal corn to me. Very nice, I love the corns. Technically, Sam's right, keep an eye out for retained shed skin. However, snakes don't have butts. :) Corns aren't known for problem sheds anyway, just keep the humidity up when s/he goes in blue. I don't keep my corn cages moist during shed cycles. Even with Denver's dry climate, I mist once daily during shed cycles, and have never had a bad shed.
