I'm having trouble finding any care sheets or the like for wolf spiders.
I'm getting my first wolfie (Geolycosa sp. south africa) soon and I'd like to get as much info I can to keep it happy and healthy.
Any links and tips would be very nice.

I've kept WC Geo's in deli containers. Good ventilation and a clean water source are key! Offer cricket every week or so. Deep substrate for burrowing or a hide area wouldn't hurt, but I never went that rout and the spiders did just fine. good luck.

For substrate, i strongly prefer pure sand. One of the coolest things about these wolf spiders, is they build turrets. Simply make a hole large enough for them to comfortably enter, and place small sticks, or whatever you want, they'll weave it into their turrets. While they're in there, sprinkling sand on them will generally trigger the turret-building behavior- this works for all wolf spiders that build turrets. try that :)

I think I'll sprinkle in some gold glitter, haha that would look crazy.

Thanks for the replies. I decorated an exoterra mini last night for it. I used a mix of peat, sand and a little moss. Should be good for diggin' and burrowin'. Added some pieces of wood and some moss for decoration. I'm thinking of adding some small stones and some small clutter for extra decoration.
The spider should arrive tonight. I'll try to get pictures asap.

In the meanwhile here's the terrarium:

EDIT:Bummer! Seems the Geolycosa had just gone out of stock and I didn't have a backup for it so no spidy for Hanska. Well atleast we got some pretty beetles...
