I just picked up a Pamphobeteus sp. "Ecuador" from Botar. And yes.......he has the best damn tarantulas ever :D

I also have a male in premolt which I believe to be penultimate... so I hope to be breeding this species in the near future.

The cephalothorax on these T's is amazing. I would love to have one of them.
But I dont think I'll ever see any here in Malta :(

Here is a freshly molted sub-adult male Pamphobeteus sp2. "Ecuador".

I was hoping he was going to mature with this molt... maybe next time. Notice the large coloration difference between him and the female I pictured on the previous page. They are both at the same instar. The male and female were distinguishable on color alone from about 3" on.
