platyomma

P. platyomma sling

Which I picked up from the Chicago Reptile house {D

I hope it thrives :) I want to see it turn into a massive spider, it's so tiny now.

difference between Xenesthis?

The Pamphobeteus nigricolor, "common bluebloom", is awesome!!!

they look real similar to Xenesthis immanis...what makes them different, enough to give them a different species in Theraphosinae???

and how much are you guys paying for a P. nigricolor spiderling???

thanks

>>2 bad eggsacs... .OUCH!!....Any reasons for the bad sacs that come to mind?..or just a case of bad sac luck?Just asking because I have 2 mature females waiting patiently for a male and it would be nice to produce some good sacs.Any input appreciated.

No idea, they looked poorly constructed and were dried out very quickly...The male seemed kinda old, but was left in with the female..After a week or two he was found dead though I couldn't find any kinda of definitive proof of attack.
Thing is she made a sac a while ago unmated (sterile), that she did a fine job on. I believe it had 72 eggs in it? Have to dig up some pictures..

Pamphobeteus Nigricolor...

I bought this one when she was a sling. She turned out to be a show stopper!
This one needs a date too. :p :)

Very nice. :D

Think you'd better make sure she's got a secure lid on her tank. . .looks like she's raiding the cricket bin when you're not looking. {D
