Hi Martin, the female was about the same size as the male. I guess the legspan is just under 3 inches. They mated and even cohabited in a 32 oz cup for a week or two with no aggression toward each other.

Why is it that there is such a large variation in the looks of each species in this genus?

does anyone have any info on chilobrachys penang???ive looked every where, and all ive found is pictures, any info on how big they get, what their environmental settings should be? please get back to me!

Is it just the lighting or does the penang actually have a purple sheen on the abdomen?
