0.1 Avicularia rufa
0.1 Avicularia juruensis
0.1 Avicularia merianae
(Hobby sp. Tarapoto)
Adult female Caribena Versicolor. Still Avicularia to me.
Been waiting for this transition since 2011, About time they were called out... To the island Avicularia imposters, I say PEACE!
0.1 Avicularia purpurea
'Northern Type' (Colombia)
1.0 Avicularia merianae
Avicularia purpurea (sp. Ecuador) Adult Female
Now this is interesting....Another Avic that keeps the tiger striping into adulthood, like Minatrix?
My lone avic at the moment. Unfortunately never managed to get pics of my 1.0 Avicularia purpurea before I sent him out on loan.
Avicularia braunshauseni 0.0.1
Yes, but it supposedly fades as she gets older. The males lose the abdominal striping after sling stage like any other purpurea which is interesting...
It fades, and the males lose it. Easy to ID then. So, sorta like minatrix, but not exactly.
2" Avicularia avicularia
Avicularia merianae Adult Female
You've been trending towards the darker less bright Avics it seems lately...Or just what you have been photographing?
Here ya go, Chris.
Avicularia merianae 1.5"
That's the fattest Avic ever!!!
This is the most chill sp of Avicularia ive ever seen and they eat like beasts.
This should be molting here pretty soon. Just rehoused it before this photo
Surprised it didn't start molting on your hand... lmao. That things about to pop.
