You can expect Aphonopelma's to grow about as fast as glaciers move... extremely slow. I have some slings that were maybe 1/6" when I got them a little over a year ago that haven't even made it to 1/2" yet... But think of it this way, you'll get to enjoy even the males around 10 years before they mature :D

this is the best appreciation thread ever:D love those aphonopelma's A.anax and a.mod are on my list to get over the summer, and have been since it started to get cold.:D

on the anax and moderatum are they like the a.seemani kick lots of hair and every now and then show your fangs?:p (love that attiude.)

This is the meanest Aphono. I've ever seen. Its in attack mode at all times. I would never try to hold this T.
It goes crazy like a H. lividum.

Hmmm seems my bicoloratum pic was too big. I'll have to post another one when I get a chance to dig through my pics for a good one. Until then just check out the Arachnocalendar for it. :)
