I upgraded my C. brachycephalus to a larger enclosure about a week ago, and now there is somthing growing all over the substrate. It looks like little white hairs with a small bulb on top. They are about 2-3 mm tall. I have seen mold before growing on dead crickets, and this is not the same. Whatever this is it has spread across the top of the substrate. I am using peat, the only moisture is the waterbowl and there are now remains of crickets anywhere.

Anyone have an idea what this is? I plan to change the substrate tomorrow, but I am curious. I also tried to take a pic, but couldn't get one through the glass.

That's just one of the larger species of mold. Molds are in the fungus family, and if you touch the "white bulb", I think you would make the spores disperse because the "bulb" would disappear. I've had that before in one of my more humid unbaked coconut substrate. I just removed the whole patch with a small spade. When the substrate became drier, no more white bulbs.
