I fed my small 1.5 inch emp a 1 inch cricket yesterday, since im low on pinheads, and he was a bit hungry. I check back on him today and I find out that the entire thing is gone with exception of the wings and head. My scorp is now a plump little guy, and I imagine he might molt soon.

Is it normal for them to eat like this? Id post a pic but im too lazy to upload it onto my host. He looks lke a pregnant scorp that is 5 times smaller. Im no going to feed him for a good week. I was expecting him to take a few bites, and leave a half eaten carcass there, but it looks like he was hungry.

Almost every scorp I have that is not an adult male is quite fat and does their best to finish all their food, no matter what it's size. They just eat way too much. It's like my addition at the bottom of my post says...

adios,

How many crickets are actually in a pound? I swear 500 crickets is less than 2 ounces. Is there even a place that sells them like that:?
