It just looks so cute the way it's sitting there... waiting till you're not looking so it can jump on your jugular and sink it's fangs nice and deep. :D

My friend would kill for one of those... how did you not soil yourself when it reared up like that in the middle of your hand??? I would have...but thats just me. :)

just found out that I have heard of these before hehe..
these guys (girls ;)) can molt after beeing bred and still produce a fertile eggsac after... this is the only T that can do this

I want :wall:

Very nice! For some reason, I'm reminding of Chromatopelma cyanopubescens when looking at that first picture. Love the threat pose!

Interesting fact about the eggsacs, Bearo... do you know why this species is able to do that? Is it just the species or the entire genus?

What is the adult size of this species? Is it a sexually dimorphic species?

More info!!! I know nothing about these guys...

They are slightly dimorphic, the females being slightly larger and more drab than the males. Adult size is similiar to that of an usambar. The females store the sperm in the oviducts not in the spermathea.

Sickius longibulbi and Xenodendrophila gabrieli is the only T's that can do this.

What an attractive species.

Does anyone have any info on the legs of this species and the species in general? Not sure if I've ever seen anything like it...

aahh ok so there is 2 :)

I know nothing, I only know some basic "fun facts" Phalagorn told me that he read in the BTS magazine
