Fresh Molt from Ornata Female

Well my P.Ornata female molted last night. Got a picture of "her".
Someone suggested it looks like a male. Anyone else think so?

How big is "She"?? That folio looks like a male, if it's 4+". Also, the lack of black/white on the carapace males me think male....

Can't say for sure, but it's beautiful!

If it's male, the ventral side would be quite obvious.

Absolutely! ornatas are one of my favorite pokies...they are stunning. I should add that my guess is based on the obvious folio stripe. I have some smaller 3.5" animals and the distinction in folio fading is pretty obvious to me when comparing the two. I could definitely be wrong though, a ventral shot would help.

I don't judge by coloration anymore, ventral is far better.

Start trying at about 5.5".

I have paired smaller females but have not gotten a sac yet. But that does not mean it can't happen!

Yeah I am going to try. If She was manually stretched out she would reach 7" no problem.

Oh you are set to go that is for sure. My smallest girl to produce was 5.5" and she gave me 149 slings.

The colors are beautiful...how many different color types can you get out of Ornatas? Ive seen Greens, Oranges, Purples, I think Ive seen them with Yellow and and Red highlights too...wow, they are like the Fruit Loops of Pokies.
