My A. avicularia, who had been sick for a while finally died yesterday. I buried her in my houseplant tonight. R.I.P. On one hand, it's good to know she is not suffering anymore, on the other, it was sad that I couldn't do anything more for her. Down to 24 tarantulas.
On the brighter side, despite the sadness of a first death, I get to witness a molt for the first time. We've had numerous molts but have never seen any, but tonight I came in and saw my boyfriend's 3 1/2" B. vagans flipped over on his back.
