Now now, I wouldn't get excited. My thesis is due next year, and has to be approved first. I may run it by my program head to see what she thinks. I'll probably get the "you're nuts" look.

It won't be hard to get approved though. I have an entire course dedicated to analyzing nutrient values from various samples, and I'm sure that prof won't mind helping me out at all. Plus the wide variety of reasons why it's beneficial to have a basic nutrition guide for the hobby, and the information can lead into other trials and papers.

I'll set a reminder next September to post if my thesis gets approved.
