Encountered this Leptinotarsa juncta for the first time today. Pretty stoked!

Haha! I love finding new species to me, especially in places I am familiar with. Beetles and caterpillars are some of the most fun to identify, they are so distinctive and colorful.

A couple months back, I had one of those guys just chilling out in a crevice between my garage stairs and the wall for a few days before it finally decided to leave. It was nice having that little cutie greet me when I came home
