Ahhhh cant wait to see those little guys and gals again!

Pictures of Vipera berus, european adder, taken here in Stockholm at the best adder or other snake locality I´ve seen. These are males basking in the spring sunshine.

Great pictures. Their pattern, especially on their backs, reminds me of that of Candoia species. This species is the only hot snake in Europe, correct? Or am I thinking of a particular European country that only has one hot species?

Its the only venomous snake in Scandinavia and a few other northern european countries but there are a bunch of Vipera ssp. around Europe.
