My emp is sitting outside its hide, kinda curled up. Its not very big, about 2.5" I've had for a year and a half, it has not eaten much since I've gotten it, about 3 or 4 times. I've put cricks in and they just die. So, I think its a molt, but I've never seen a scorpion molt before. Is it anything like T's?

hmm.. 4 crickets in 1.5 years is very small for a growing emperor
at this stage mine was eating about 5-10 a month, then it cooled down for a few weeks, and ate tons more

how warm are you keeping it?
Humidity is VERY VERY important as well as HEAT, in a succeseful scorpion moult
you need a temp of 30Celsius and 80% humidity

the moult will take it about an hour or two, dont touch it, and dotn open its box as this will reduce humidity and temp

wether its curled up or not doesnt matter, they can moult with the tail straight, or curled onto its back

2.5 inches isnt very big; and it usually takes this species about 2 years to reach adulthood in perfect conditions

UP the temp and humdity
and see what happens!
