When I just came home I discovered some odd stuff on one of the fake leaves in my D. diamantinensis enclosure. What is this? Are these indeed eggs of some sort? And if yes, from what? Or is it just very weird looking poo?

eggs or what1.jpg eggs or what2.jpg
(second picture was taken with a pc microscope with a different light source, they weren't as pink-ish as they seem)

It must have been very recent as well, because that stuff was pretty wet when I got that leaf out of the enclosure. Now, about 15 min later, it has dried up.

Poop. That's indeed poop.

(And I'm trying really, really hard not to laugh  - ok, I failed. :sorry:)

Well, I have to say, I'm relieved... doesn't matter how funny my question maybe was. :p I haven't seen this before, all my other Ts poop differently, more like a white liquid, not this egg shape like. :wacky:

Also, I found this at the far end of the enclosure, a place I never expected my T to be as she never leaves her web castle... or so I thought. :p

Yup, like mine... normally.

Definitely spider poop. When I first got my E. murinus, I seen the same thing in her enclosure and I freaked out:rofl: I had never seen spider poop like that before, only the liquid stuff. I wonder what causes that variation?

Thanks! I'm just glad I'm not the only one with that experience.
