Do tarantulas not want to eat when rehoused?

I wait a minimum of 24hrs after housing/rehousing before attempting to feed, I've found that more often than not they will refuse to eat the same day whereas they almost never refuse after waiting a day.

Most of my Ts will eat right away after a rehouse, but not after being shipped/unpacked.

I have the exact experience as you on this, quite funny. Every T shipped, always ate same day, often within an hour or less. The rehouse...days.
