Hi all, I need some advice. My P Everetti is Always in hiding this is nothing unusual however the last week it has been taking its food into the burrow and nothing has been coming back out its still a small sling so I feed it mealworm with the head crushed so it doesn't burrow. Should I be worried about an infestation in the burrow?

No, I don´t think you need to worry about that. Some Ts will keep boluses in their burrows for some reason, but I have yet to see that resulting in an infestation. Just remove the boluses it kicks out and leave it at that.

Nope, Ts will often store crap/boluses in their burrows until they reach a point where they decide to dump the lot in one go. My P. antinous had a separate chamber in her burrow exclusively for this purpose, my A. geniculata only uses her hide as a toilet/landfill, it's not an issue.

I wouldn't worry about it, not unless you notice the burrow getting overrun with mold.
