Edit -- HELL not HELLO

Hey all --
I had a dubia colony booming for about two years. During the huge cold snap in So Cal in the winter I could NOT keep the colony warm despite heat pads and everything.

Since then, the colony fell apart. I am down to about 10% of the original colony. Mostly adults, very few babies. Heat is back up now for 2 months. Still no growth.

I have a lot of dead roaches. I have to get them out.

In the meantime, do you think the lack of new growth is:

1. It just takes time
2. Not enough diversity, need to add a bunch more adults
3. Some issues -- need to totally clean out the colony before putting all dubias back in.

Thanks so much.

You need to clean it. Dubia are clean animals they dont do well in dirty container. It doesnt hurt to ad a handfull new ones though. Depends a little on how many you got left.
