I'd been keeping my "blue" in a 1 gallon jar for a long time now. She (assumed female) has gotten big and has finally started coming out, and I decided it was time to give her more room. So she's now reigning over a 10 gallon kingdom.
no massive deconstruction yet. she seems happy to have a half-log to hide behind. the glass area is covered by cardboard to provide full shelter, as i couldn't find a large enough tube of wood.
i've decided that i prefer this set up where i can easily take her tunnel apart and retrieve her if i need to, as opposed to a solid tube where capturing her would be complete chaos. not to say i plan on bothering this girl ANY time soon.
don't worry about the small booty. she just molted a few weeks ago and hasn't plumped up yet.
