What are the "humidity" requirements for this species, especially 1/8 to 1/2 inch slings? Do they need dry substrate, moist substrate, etc.?

I believe they prefer more humidity, though the substrate should hold a fair amount of it. I admit I don't have much experience with these though. @Aphonopelma81 sells these regularly, so he'd be the guy who'd know.

I keep mine quite moist.Deep substrate. They are a neat species. You won’t see much of yours though except for a quick dart out to snatch a feeder.
