Curious Centobolus Molting

My female finally emerged after a month of long molting today. She's all well and good, eating a lot, looking very healthy. But what's curious is that instead of growing longer, she's grown a bit shorter. Not only that, but now she is much, MUCH wider. Very sausage-like indeed.

I noticed this in my Narceus... After millipedes molt, their segments scrunch up together. After they eat some more and fill up their new exoskeleton with muscle and stomach, they begin to lengthen out and become more proportional.

Yes, they are sometimes smaller after a molt, but it is temporary!
