Got a free G. rosea and tank today off of Craigslist. After I got him I realize he's a mature male with 7 legs.
I got 2 females so he might just have found himself a lady.

No It was a girl that was moving and just wanted to give him away because she had to fly to where she was moving.

MM roseas can actually last quite a while longer than other MMs. Mine is a pretty good eater and keep his weight on well. he mates with my girl but well, she's a typical rosea and has her own mind. She may drop a sac in this decade...or not. I'm not holding my breath. I'm also enjoying my MM, "Rosebud" and he is definitely not leaving any too soon.

Good luck with yours and don't sell your guy short, he may surprise you and live a few more years.
