Heres a question for you advanced hobbyists....
Is a sub-adult (5 inches) robustums spermetheca visible to the naked eye? And does anyone happen to know what the spermetheca for this species look like???
Thanks

At 5 inches, spermatheca will be visible to the naked eye. It's been a while since I last kept any Megaphobema, and I've cleaned house in the exuvia dept., so I cannot clue you in to the shape of spermatheca. It will be unmistakeable though.

The spermatheca from Megaphobema robustum is fused and has I kind of dome shape to it.It looks a little like the pic of the Haplopelma sp "longipedum" in this link Click Here ,but in Megaphobema robustum the spermatheca has a more higher dome!
Not sure if this is of any help.
