I have a suspected Male Poecilotheria Vitatta. While I understand you arent supposed to sell them across state lines what's the law say about breeding loans? Or trades for that matter?

Ps...this is a dumb law stateside. I completely understand imports

Breeding loans are fine so long as there isn’t any trade for other species. That’s how I understand it.

Might want to edit your second post for language there.

As to them being put under the ESA, USFWS responded to the petition and the hobby did very little, if anything at all (from what I could gather), within the 9 years a ruling wasn’t made so tough cookies I say.

It's not only a dumb law... it's a useless law, which is IMO worst. For instance, for protect better (if someone seek to protect) certain species etc a law/regulation/way to act etc should be a worldwide one (or, at least, the whole Western world, if nothing). Yet in Europe this 'Pokie' issues are non existent.

As always, anyway, laws are laws.
