Our first time breeding this specie has been successful. The female molted in April and the male hooked out in June, both 2012. They were paired in mid July. In fact, they cohabited overnight once.
In mid August the female dropped her egg sac, which was left under her care for three weeks. When the egg sac was pulled, it was opened and eggs with legs were observed. They were left in the incubator, and two days after, they started to molt into first instars. We are satisfied with our success in breeding this hard to breed gems.

Congrats! Once you get second instars, you should definitely post in the breeding reports.

Update

The GBBs have molted into 2nd instar. They are beautiful and active slings. They already have been rehoused in a delicup, waiting for them to take their first meal.

Thanks for your comments. The little ones have already eaten their first meal, a small roach. They will be ready for their new homes soon enough.
