I know there is much confusion when it comes to the Chilobrachys genus.
I would like some clarification on predominantly the blue species.
Is the Chilobrachys dyscolus sp. Blue the same as the sp. Vietnam blue?
And what are the main differences from the Vietnam blue and the sp. Cambodian blue?
Many thanks

Chilobrachys dyscolus sp. "Blue" is the same as sp. "Vietnam blue". How it relates to sp. "Cambodian blue", I have no idea. The genus of Chilobrachys is a great mess :banghead:

Advan may have the most up to date info on the Chilobrachys currently available in the hobby.

Thanks everyone :)
I think the C. sp Cambodian blue is a darker overall brown then the C.dyscolus blue.
It is a humongous mess, as is the Cyriopagopus genus.
There's a fascinating article in the BTS journal v 30 no.2 about the Chilobrachys guangxiensis, you should give it a read :)

I believe Chads statement last time was any Chilobrachys with a locale in their name, could already be IDed. Or not because the works isn't finished/published yet. - Correct me if I recalled that wrong, Chad!
