Hello! I'm wondering which species of centipede has the most potent venom? I could find very little information on the subject online. I mostly saw S.subspinipes being mentioned among others. I was wondering if you guys have any more insight?
Sources appreciated!

(Research just out of curiosity, not currently keeping or planning on keeping centipedes anytime soon )

Most potent as in what exactly? LD50? Anecdotal based on bites?

All of these are very painful to be bitten by and are presumed to be very potent as well:

Scolopendra dehaani
Scolopendra hainanum
Scolopendra spinosissima
Scolopendra sp. ‘Riau Giant’
Scolopendra sp ‘Malaysian jewel’

Pain is relative though..
Agreed, and I would add that pain and venom potency are two different things. one person can be in agony, another with mild symptoms but neither in real danger. This seems to happen with S. heros a lot, some people reporting awful pain, others saying it's no big deal.
