Hi guys
this is my new C. Versicolor in its enclosure
thoughts>?

The picture is kind of blurry, but it looks like you dont have much side ventilation. They need cross ventilation for good air flow. My versicolors containers have 4 rows of 4 holes down the side of their enclosure all on opposite ends (12,3,6,9 positions on a clock) and have a few additional holes between each vertical row close to the substrate and close to the top where the tarantula will be. then I have just 1 small hole poked on top for watering without opening the container, but they dont really need holes on top of the container as it makes it harder to create a microclimate in the container.

It looks a bit wet in there...and ventilation isn't optimal I think. Damp, stuffy enclosures kill C.versicolor. I would add holes like @N1ghtFire said, and let the substrate dry out. Is there a waterdish in there?

Edit: Caribena is a relatively new name for this species, it used to be Avicularia
