There was a video of a bloke who put a hardwickei and a cingulata against each other. no joke. Not sure if it's still up

Oh dear...that's making me rather nervous about pairing. That's why I'll probably attempt pairing with greens or tigers first; they're easy to obtain and replace should something go wrong.

Well that was horrid to watch. That being said, their behaviour was hardly surprising given how stressed they would've been. Certainly very different to two (possibly socialised by then) pedes being gently introduced to each other in favourable conditions.

Like LeFanDesBugs said if you feed everyone and if you are sure you have a male and a female there will be no problem! I would recommend to you that you first put the female in the mating box and second the male. In my opinion males are more careful

Mhh.. cingulata tend to be 100% cannibalistic. Doesn't mean putting them together was ok though

I had a trio of cingulata that the seller guaranteed wouldn't eat each other (about 12 years ago) but in the end one did disappear.
