Up close above (real size ab 1/2")

IMG_0033.JPG I caught this little guy in my kitchen and put it temporarily under a glass cup because I wanted to feed it… I had way too many small crickets and I thought it would be fun to watch. Now I'm curious about identification… I have a female adult Calistoga longitarsus (I live in the CA east Bay Area) and this looks similar. Here are some pics of it having a snack. Could this be a calisoga sling?

No, this isn't a Calisoga sp. I can see from the photo that the eyes are not gathered in a mound at the front of the prosoma nor is it eating like a tarantula. The latter shows the chelicera are arranged vertically and not horizontally. Both of these characters immediately rule out the infraorder Mygalomorphae.

If you have a magnifying glass, you may want to double check these characters.
