breeding male, female.. size

Today I got a new emp, a male, the problem is hes much bigger than my female bout an inch and a half besides,hes bulkier than my female (he really looks much bigger), does this matter if I want to mate them, or is there going to be trouble with the difference in sizes.

i think an inch and a half is a pretty significant difference.
