EDIT - the 2nd T is Aphonopelma serratum, not a Brachy . . .
Perfect time to molt (yesterday). B. hamorii, female, 4.25"DLS (molt size).
Got her 5/18/2015, under .5" and only flicked hair a handful of times. Been raising this one as a gift for my great niece. She'll be stoked this Christmas for sure!
This is my male B. vagans! He's my very first tarantula, and I feel incredibly lucky to have such a great lil guy to introduce me to the hobby! He just entered his ultimate molt, and I'm hoping to find a female to breed him to!

Posting because the moment was hilarious. I think it's underbelly looks like a particularly famous bear that says no to forest fires.
B. boehmei 1/2" sling. It is neat to see the coloration of the legs, even at this early stage.
Just received my first B. albopilosum yesterday. At 1/4” it’s so small and adorable.
He got annoyed by the cricket and i had to get a quick picture of him showing off his size.
"This is not a female. Try again."
Im aware it's a male, that's why I posted it as a male. Who said it was female?
No, that's what the male tarantula said when he rejected your cricket.
A new addition today...
Unsexed, Brachypelma albopilosum. Smaller than About a 3'' legspan.
I am still deciding on a name, but am considering "Tuco" (as from the movie The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly).
(waiting on permanent enclosure to arrive in the mail, should be here Thursday or Friday)
Which Brachypelma speciea do you like the most and why?
Tbh I love them all and finding it hard to choose one as I love them for there individual things.. I have 5 different brachypelmas but if I had to choose would be my vegans.. his personality is amazing and always doing something spidery haha..
I also love them all but if I will choose among them, it would be between my B.emilia and B. boehmei
