boxing glove

    i have a male redknee
    from my readings, the mature male can identified by the boxing gloves
    any pics that can show to me?
    besides that, i also want know
    redknee have mating hook or not?

    I odn't have a picture handy to show you what the boxing gloves look like but they are impossible to miss on a B. smithi. Mature B. smithi males will also have tibial hooks.

    The hooks and boxing gloves are two different things. In the photo above, the boxing gloves are not usually seen this way. The actually hook spoken of is the little curved-under part of the front leg. It less than half way up the leg.

    The sharp part that sticks out more to the center of the photo is the boxing glove and it would be more obvious if the sharp pointed part was inside the palp as it is most of the time.

    Does this makes sense?
