Ok here's my question: My emperor scorp seems to really like the blacklight bulb I bought for his tank. He'll come out of his rock and just stretch out and bask under it, but i've been reading that it could kill him. Would an hour or two a day be safe for him or is that too much? I love the way he glows green and I can see him at night. :?

It shouldn't kill him but it could damage their eyes and cause their exoskeleton to stop glowing after awhile.

There is really no reason to keep it on the scorp when you are not looking at it. They are night creatures and don't need light for anything other than allowing them to have some sort of diurnal day/night cycle.
