hey guys! first off all its been a while since i posted here ive taken a break from the hobby to focus on my indie game career but im back in now. today i was searching for spiders to restart my collection and i sighted one of the most beautiful things i have ever seen. one of the spiders ive wanted to keep most in this world is an american grass spider (Agelenopsis) and i had never been able to find any until today. i noticed a huge area covered in webs which i initially thought to be orb weavers but to my surprise it was tons of grass spiders. i attempted to catch some but to no avail. im gonna go back out tomorrow does anyone have any tips on how to catch them outside or inside there funnel?

You have to lure them out by tapping on their web gently with a piece of grass and then carefully get a catch cup behind them, so that if they try and dart back into their tunnel they will run into the cup. At least from my experience that's how you do it without destroying the habitat.

Hope this helps,
