So in my communal tank of Holothele incei I found an eggsac in the back right corner a few weeks back. That female took the egg sac and reburrowed on that side, but tonight I found on the back left side of the tank another female with a number of spiderlings.

So I have atleast 2 females with eggsacs. There are 10 adults in this tank, all but 1 male burrowed and have not resurfaced for the last 2 months. So perhaps I have more expecting females.

Here is a pic of the mother with some of her spiderlings.

I'm jealous. I'd LOVE to get a communal tank like that. Soon, I hope.

Yah, well these guys are great. I got the spiderlings in December of last year and they are already producing young.

So rewarding for a tarantula. You really get to see them thriving right away.

Here is a pic of it, this is a few months old (I would get a new one but the tank lights are out and the glass fogs up at night).

Simply Gorgeous! So well done.

Sorry for a pesky question, especially if you have answered before, what size tank? Do you plan to leave the babies inside?

Thanks
