I woke up this morning and found baby crickets in my scorpion terrarium, what should I do?

Did you leave an adult female inside the enclosure?

If pinheads hatched everywhere than u would need a substrate change

I left for a long weekend (thursday-monday) and asked my brother to take care of my AFS and he put a cricket in at some point and voila baby crickets.

Another problem is I think my scorpion pre-molt so I don't know if it would be bad to replace the sub yet.

Probably dont want them in there while it's molting... I would creat a temporary enclosure for it with cleaned substrate and let it molt out in there. Gently relocating it will not harm it

I found out she's not pre-molt because she ate a cricket while wandering around the other night (two things that do not equal pre-molt) so since I have the morning off I'm gonna clean her terrarium and change out the sub, without her in it of course. I'll just use the old coco fiber for gardening and such. Is there any way to keep this from happening again?
