Avicularia nests?

Hi all!

Just got a pink-toed tarantula a few days back and i was wondering whats the best way to arrange sticks/branches in the enclosure for it to build its tube webs...
Some diagrams and/or advice is appreciated!

I have always just let them worry about that. I just try to make the cage vertical and maybe put a piece of corkbark at a angle or even a couple of sticks and they pretty much put the web where they feel comfortable.

Here is a pic of my avic cage. If you look on the left wall you can see her. That was right after I set the cage up. She has since made her web on the other side of the branch among the leaves. I can take a pic later (I'm at work now)

Avic abodes...

Avic slings will spin a tube web almost anywhere, usually at the top of their enclosure in one fashion or another. Sometimes, for my larger avics I place twigs or corkbark at an angle and they thank me profusely for it. Suntigers like this too.

You got it buddy. I have really enjoyed my short time keeping tarantulas. I wish someone had introduced me to this sooner.
