I bought my pink toe about 2 weeks ago. I just noticed that one of her back legs is really odd looking. It looks like part of it is missing. Definitely wasn’t like this when I bought her. She’s taken one cricket from me so far. How could this have happened to her? First photo is the day I got her. Second photo is today. I assume it will fix itself when she molts?

I think you over looked it, it's "wonky" in both pictures. It is quite possible the part missing got stuck to it's last molt or the new exoskeleton didn't form right. Nothing I'd be worried about. I have had a few Avicularia like this and they fully regenerated a molt or two later.

Good to know. Thank you!
