avic ponderings

I was wondering..when avics spin there tube webs how do they eat,drink, or get out? The one i puchases before x-mas is inside the one it made and hasnt been out yet..i tried to feed it but nothing yet..so any info about this spider will be useful so i can better understand it.. Thanks Ryan

I have an a. avic as well. They do indeed exit the web, and re-enter. We just don't see it. T's are most active at night, after 3 a.m. I've occasionally seen Stubs out and about.
