i've read a lot on not having your avicularia's enclosure misted/moist and to keep it completely dry. but some have also said to keep it moist. so do they require any moisture at all and how much? (i'm getting an adult female)

Keep the substrate dry, too much moisture is bad for avics. Make sure you have lots of cross-ventilation, this is the most important thing.

Provide a water bowl for your avic and over flow it whenever you fill it up to put a bit of moisture into the substrate.

Don’t mist :)

One additional comment: if they aren't going to their water dishes, dribble a little water onto the webbing for them to drink. (Many Avics will drink from water dishes, but sometimes they seem to forget where the dish is.)
